This Constitution, which has been formulated by the UNP itself, allows only one power centre and that is the Executive Presidency. In that office, is concentrated all the executive powers. Parliament by itself, has no Executive powers, says LSSP Leader and Justice Minister Batty Weerakoon in an interview with the Daily News yesterday.
