EXCHANGE RATES ON 22.11.2001 IN SLRS 

Average Rates at which the following currencies were quoted by Commercial Banks in Colombo for telegraphic transfers.

The Approximate Exchange Rates of GULF Currencies based on previous day's Market Weighted Average Rate.

The European Commission's Locking Rates of 11 member countries that came into existence from January 01st, 1999 are as follows.

The  Average Weighted Prime Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week ended November 16, 2001 by all commercial banks were 14.14 percent and 13.13  per cent respectively.

The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of Commercial banks for the month ended October 31st 2001 was 10.99 percent.
