Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe who participated in a special Pooja to the Sacred Tooth Relic at Dalada Maligawa Kandy yesterday is being conducted by Diyawadana Nilame Neranjan Wijeyaratne into the Maligawa at Hewisi Mandapaya. Prime Minister and Diyawadana Nilame are carrying trays of flowers. Mrs. Wijeyaratne and several Ministers and MPs participated.

Prabhakaran writes to Norwegian PM

The peace process gathered momentum yesterday with Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam chief Velupillai Prabhakaran writing to Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, calling for Norway's continuous engagement as the facilitator between the LTTE and the new Sri Lankan government.
