29 homicides

by Kuliyapitiya group correspondent

29 homicides were reported from Kuliyapitiya Police Division in 2001. The highest number 08 murders were from Pannala Police area. 07 homicides from Kuliyapitiya Police area and 6 from Giriulla Police area were reported.

04 murders from Narammala Police area and 3 from Dummalasooriya Police area were reported. Only one murder was reported from Katupotha Police area.

No murders were reported from Hettipola and Bingiriya Police areas.
