As a Minister of the previous Government I had to give up my portfolio to go against that Govt. to topple it; for the greater good of the people, election results showed that action taken by us had been overwhelmingly approved by the people, said the Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources and Deputy Minister of Southern Development Mahinda Wijesekara.
