EXCHANGE RATES ON 05.02.2002 IN SLRS 

Average Rates at which the following currencies were quoted by Commercial Banks in Colombo for telegraphic transfers at 9.30 A.M.

The Approximate Exchange Rates of GULF Currencies based on previous day's Market Weighted Average Rate.

The  Average Weighted Prime Lending Rates (AWPLR) & the Lowest Prime Rate (LPR) during the week ended February 01st, 2002 by all commercial banks were 13.84 percent and 12.35  per cent respectively.

The Average Weighted Deposit Rate (AWDR) of Commercial banks for the month ended Junuary, 31st 2002 was 10.53 percent.
