Frederica threatened with death

Sunday Leader staff writer Frederica Jansz told the Daily News last night that last Friday (February 15) she had received a letter by post threatening her with death for causing "irreparable damage to the special unit of the Army".

She said she lodged a complaint to the Mirihana police yesterday. The postmark of the letter was not legible, she said.

Jansz has exposed highly placed personalities connected with the military in a recent series of articles published in the Sunday Leader.
