ADB President to visit SL President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Mr. Tadao Chino will visit Sri Lanka from March 5-8 to discuss the government's program for the country, including proposals for economic reforms and plans for rehabilitation in the North and East. Mr. Chino is also due to sign a Poverty Reduction Partnership Agreement with the Government on March 8 with the Finance Minister K. N. Choksy followed by a press conference. The President is also due to open the office of the ADB's Sri Lanka Resident Mission at Colombo 3 and will be visiting some of ADB's project sites in Vavuniya,. Dimbulagala, and Nuwara Eliya during his visit to the country. |
