AYODHYA INDIA : A Hindu woman worships Shiva, on the banks of the Saryu river in Ayodhya, 12 March 2002. Only a few hundred locals were able to worship at the river on “Shiv Ratri”, when offerings are made to Shiva. The government has restricted all entry points to the city of Ayodhya. Probe on land grab by PA politicos

The Ministry of Lands is probing illegal land transactions of the PA regime to identify lands worth billions of rupees which have been doled out by powerful PA politicians including ministers to their cronies, Minister of Lands Dr. Rajitha Senaratne told the Daily News yesterday.
