Pakistan play SL Youth XI today by Bernard Perera Pakistan faced the Sri Lanka national team on Sunday in Colombo and Kurunegala on Thursday. Both matches ended in draws. The Lankan youth team underwent residential training under coaches Marcos Ferreira and Sampath Perera. This will be a great opportunity for these young soccerites to gain more international exposure, before they play in the Asian Championship in Pakistan later this year. They are billed to face stiff competition from countries like Japan, China, India, Iran, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
