DENAWAKA - MRS D.M. GAMALATH DENAWAKA   - Beloved wife of late Ayurvedic Doctor Hemarathne Denawaka, loving mother of Pushpa (Dehiwala - Central College), Seetha (Base Hospital - Gampaha), Asoka (Meegoda Junior School), Dr Kamani (National Hospital, Colombo) and late Janaki Denawaka, motherin-law of Ranjith (N.E.M.), Gamini Somasiri, Sisira (Ministry of Agriculture) and Jayantha Abeywardene (Assistant Superintendent of Customs), grandmother of Rasuni, Manosi, Isuru, Kalani, Hasarinda, Udeesha, Upulini, Upashama, Dunali and Disna, sister of late Messrs. Liveris Gamalath, Joseph Gamalath, Edwards Gamalath, Victor Gamalath, Benete Gamalath and Mrs Elza Welikala, expired. Funeral will be held on Saturday 30th March 3.00 p.m. at Family Burial Ground at Meegoda.   No.498, Highlevel Road, Naduhena, Meegoda. 

FERNANDO - MANOJ.   (Bela International, Wellawatte). Precious elder son of T.K. Fernando (Ex- Meteorological Department) and Malini Fernando, beloved brother of Vinod Chamila (University of Sri Jayawardenepura), expired under tragic circumstances. Cortege leaves residence at 4.00 p.m. on 28th Thursday for Cremation at Nalluruwa Cemetery.   712/1, Galle Road, Nalluruwa, Panadura. 

SIVAGNANASUNDARAM - MRS GNANAPIRAKASAM   of Erlalai West. Beloved wife of late Mr. Gnanapirakasam, loving mother of Gnanasampanthan (Australia), Umaiyal, late Senthoor Murugan, and Dev Devan (Botswana), mother-in-law of Chandra, Nadarajah (Pan Asia Bank) and Gnanambigai, loving grandmother of Mathangini Senthooran (London), Neelathri (Australia) and Ajahini, passed away peacefully on 27th March 2002. The remains will be kept at   Jayaratne Parlour. The Cortege will leave for Kanatte, Borella at 5 p.m. for Cremation on 28th March 2002. 

WICKRAMASINGHA - BADRA   - Rtd (People’s Bank). Beloved wife of A.W. Wickramasingha (Ex Airforce), Administrative Officer of TAL, mother of Minoka (Roshi) (Lanka Bell), Sharmil (Shaw), FML Cargoways, Renu (All Saints’ Balika Vidyalaya), mother-in-law of Chaminda (Union Assurance), grandmother of Amandi and Savini, expired.
