Transforming negative peace to positive peace

The ceasefire during the last three months at least has spared over 1,500 valuable human lives. The most commendable achievement is the steps towards the normalization of civilian lives in the affected areas. The strengthening of food supply, day-to-day livelihood, employment, family life, healthcare and education are the most evident tangible results that could be achieved through a sustainable ceasefire or peace
