LTTE boat explodes A Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) boat exploded off the Batticaloa coast last afternoon, defence sources said. The explosion occurred when some LTTE boats came under Navy surveillance. The sources said that neither side had opened fire. It was not immediately clear whether the explosion was intentional or accidental, they said. The number of LTTE casualties was not available. There were no Navy casualties. |
