Britain gives arms to Nepal

Britain has given more than 3 million pounds (4.7 million euros, dollars) of defence equipment to Nepal, including helicopters and bomb disposal equipment, the defence ministry said Tuesday."These gifts form part of a wider support package to Nepal, which includes training in areas such as ... peace support operations and civil-military cooperation," the defence ministry memo, dated Monday, said.
