Ven. Kazuo Mani Thera in Lanka

Ven. Kazuo Mani Thera of Yokohama has arrived here with a five member Japanese delegations to participate in the opening of the 'Mori Masao Teruko' preschool at the premises of the Mayurapada Pirivena, Talangama on September 14.

The opening ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. on this day under the patronage of Ministers Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku, Ravi Karunanayake and several other Parliamentarians. This preschool is affiliated to the National Children's Education Foundation functioning under Ven. Bandagiriye Somawansa Thera.

The school building was put up under a program sponsored by Mori Masao and Mrs. Mori Teruko of Japan.

Ven. Somawansa said Ven. Kazuo Mam has promised assistance to the NCEF to build 100 preschools in the country. The 'Mori Masao Teruko' preschool is the seventh preschool built under this assistance program.
