Special team to inquire into Kotakadeniya's complaint

Colombo DIG Bodhi Liyanage has deployed a special team headed by ASP J. R. Jayawardena to inquire into a complaint made by Senior DIG H. M. G. B. Kotakadeniya to the Cinnamon Gardens Police, that several people had come near his house and abused him.

In the course of the investigations DIG Liyanage had directed ASP Jayawardena to record a statement from ASP Ranmal Kodituwakku.

Colombo South Senior SP Deepal Herath said that according to the statement of ASP Kodituwakku he had never been anywhere near Senior DIG Kotakadeniya's residence.
