Highranking German Foreign Office official visitor due

Dr. Christoph Mueller, Head of the Department of South Asia in the German Foreign Office will arrive in Sri Lanka next week. During the course of his visit, Dr. Muller will hold talks with officials of the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with leading Sri Lankan politicians.

Talks will centre on bilateral relations, Sri Lanka's position in the South Asian as well as in the global context and on the on-going peace-process.

Dr. Mueller is also due to visit Jaffna and Killinochchi.
