Police communications centre opened

A Regional Police Communication Centre under the IGPs Command Information Division was declared open at the Headquarters Police Station in Trincomalee.

The regional Police Communication Centre was declared open by Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) Gamini Randeni on the invitation of DIG, Trincomalee Division G.N. Petikirkorale. DIG Transport and Communication Mahinda Balasuriya also participated at the opening ceremony. Senior Police Officers from both Trincomalee and Kantale Divisions were also present.
