Special session on Lanka at World Economic Forum

This year's World Economic Forum, scheduled to be held in Davos, Switzerland will have a special session dedicated to Sri Lanka, Professor G.L Peiris said yesterday in Thailand.

The meeting will be held on the January 27.

The WEF is traditionally the biggest gathering of top corporate executives and political leaders in the world.

At the special session the international business community will be invited to explore opportunities in Sri Lanka.

"There are many areas they can get involved in, particularly in infrastructure development," the Minister said.
