Marine Captain Andy Thomas a native of Clemson, South Carolina has a message for his mother posted on the window of his AH-1 Cobra Attack helicopter which takes off from the Amphibious Assault ship USS Nassau in the Gulf. The USS Nassau is the main ship in an Amphibious Ready Group which includes the USS Austin and the USS Tortuga, together which transport 2,300 Marines, members of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, operating in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
