Tigers aboard arms carrying boat blow themselves up : Incident will not derail talks

Three cadres of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam blew themselves up in a boat carrying arms and ammunition off the island of Delft in the early hours yesterday in what is being described as the most serious violation of the ceasefire agreement since it was signed almost a year ago.

Joint plan to deal with child soldiers issue

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam will rehabilitate all its underage cadres recruited for war, its chief negotiator Dr. Anton Balasingham declared on the eve of the fifth round of peace talks in Berlin, Germany.
