Rs. 7.5 b petroleum storage facility at Kerawalapitiya

Minister of Power and Energy, Karu Jayasuriya, Minister of Interior, John Amaratunga and Ambassador for China in Sri Lanka, Jiang Qinzheng inspect the petroleum storage facility being constructed at a cost of Rs. 7,500 million at Kerawalapitiya last week. It consists of 29 tanks which has storage capacity of 150,000 metric tons. When completed, it will double the present storage capacity of petroleum, a Ministry spokesman said. 



Primary dealers want long-term instruments traded: CBSL goes for third round of Rs. 1 billion ten-year TBs

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) will issue a further round of Rs. one billion worth ten year Treasury Bonds on February 20 and the settlement will be on February 24.
