A giant lamp was lit at Independence Square on Saturday evening as part of the countrywide Sama Pooja programme to celebrate the first anniversary of the signing of the MoU between the Government and LTTE. The ceasefire and the peace process have lit up many lives around the country. lamps were lit around the Island symbolising hopes for Peace. Management Council to revamp Railways

SLMM settles Navy-LTTE dispute
