Foreign domestic helpers in HK protest proposed tax and wage cuts

HONG KONG, Sunday (AFP)

Thousands of foreign domestic workers including Sri Lankans poured onto the streets of downtown Hong Kong Sunday in the largest protest so far against government plans to levy a new tax and cut minimum wages for foreign nationals working as maids.
