Revenue Authority - a long felt need by Lalith Heengama (Former Director General of Sri Lanka Customs) The Minister of Finance Mr. K. N. Choksy announced in his maiden Budget
Speech 2003 that a Revenue Authority would be set up shortly to coordinate
all activities of the Dept. of Inland Revenue, Department of Sri Lanka
Customs and the Department of Excise. The proposed Authority would be
