The ‘Dawn of Hope’ exhibition of photographs organised by ANCL in association with the Peace Secretariat to mark the first anniversary of the Government-LTTE MoU has evoked much interest among all peace-loving people. Here two foreigners who visited the exhibition at the National Art Gallery, Colombo on the opening day on Wednesday immersed in a poignant picture which caught their special attention. Action against traders who exploit situation

The Government is drawing up contingency plans to ensure a regular supply of essential foods in the event of an outbreak of war which will also include laws against hoarding and dealing with errant traders who try to exploit the situation.
