SLICL felicitates 23 'Millionaire Club' members by Seneviratne Kahatapitiya The Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd., (SLICL) held their annual get-together to felicitate members of the "Millionaires Club" for 2002 at Trans Asia Hotel, recently. Field Officers of SLICL with an annual commission of over Rs. one million earn membership to this elite club. Twenty-three members of the club were honoured for their outstanding achievements and the contribution towards the organisation last year. The members were honoured with rewards such as gold coins, air tickets, plaques and certificates in recognition of their performance. The Millionaires Club concept has also been a motivating factor for the SLICL. From the year 2001 to last year club membership has grown from 18 to 23. The noteworthy feature of last year's performance is the fact that some field officers had earned for themselves nearly four million rupees as commission income celebrating 40 years last year. SLICL is said to be the leading Insurance Organisation in Sri Lanka. Today, the local insurance industry has developed to a great extent to what it was decades ago. There are several strong players in the Industry competing for business. Despite the competition SLICL is the market leader in the Life Insurance and General Insurance categories. With innovative motivation methods such as the "Millionaires Club" SLICL hopes to strengthen their field officers service levels even further, to give the public the best insurance solution. |
