Armitage gives firm assurance:US assistance to Lanka unaffected by Iraq war - Prof. Peiris

The development assistance disbursed by the United States to Sri Lanka would not be reduced in any manner despite the rehabilitation commitments to Iraq in the aftermath of the war, US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage has assured Government spokesman and Enterprise Development Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris in Washington.
