Admiral Daweesak Somabha, the Chief in Commander of the Royal Thai Navy, who is in Sri Lanka now on a visit, called on Lieutenant General Lionel Balagalle the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army on May 25 (Sunday) afternoon at Army headquarters, Colombo. Soldiers of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps accorded a guard of honour to the Navy Chief on his arrival at Army headquarters after he was welcomed by the Commander of the Army. He met Vice Admiral Daya Sandagiri the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, before his meeting with the Army Commander. Lieutenant General Balagalle and Admiral Somabha exchanged mementoes. |
