McFoil Challenge Series 2 June 7 and 8 The dates for round 2 of the CMSC/SLMCC McFoil Championship have been changed to June 7 and 8 one week later than initially scheduled. The event which follows round 1 earlier this year will take place at Sri Lanka's only purpose-built race track at Pannala. This circuit has been the location for some of Sri Lanka's finest racing events in the recent past and round 2 of the McFoil Challenge is likely to produce another spectacular day's racing. Practices will be on Saturday on which day drivers and riders will be given an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the track and to set all the important practice time on which grid positions are determined. Racing will commence at 9 am on June 8 and will conclude by 2.30 p.m. Entries for the Motor Car events are now being received at the CMSC Office at Jinasena Ltd and will close on May 28 at 4.00 pm. Motorcycle entries are being received at the offices of the Sri Lanka Motorcycle Club and these entries too will close on May 28. |
