The death occurred on Monday of Wimaladharma Jayaweera, brother of President of the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka and Chairman of the National Youth Services Council Sunil Jayaweera.

His funeral will take place on June 25 (Wednesday) at the Mount Lavinia Cemetery at 5.00 p.m. with the cortege leaving his residence at Kaldemulla Road, Ratmalana at 4.00 p.m.
