Lafir heads veterans Table Tennis Association

The Annual General Meeting of the second Veterans Table Tennis Association was held recently at Otters Aquatic Club, Colombo.

During the past year, it was successful in conducting the first age group tournament, for which a large number of entries were received from all parts of the island, including the Northern & Eastern Provinces.

During the second Annual General Meeting, M.M.M. Lafir was elected as the President for the second consecutive year. The following office bearers were also elected at the Annual General Meeting.

During the year 2003 and early 2004 a proposal was made regarding the participation of 03 international Table Tennis Tournaments:

(Open Veterans Championship - Thailand)

World Veterans Championship - Japan)
