Coffee morning to raise funds

The Bloemendhal Development Society is in need of funds to continue with its services to the community. A Coffee Morning has been organised at the Hotel Galadari on September 10 to raise funds to assist less privileged people living in slums in Grandpass area.

As part of its community assistance programme, the Bloemendhal Development Society provides nursery facilities, a day-care centre and classes for school dropouts. It also provides emergency assistance during floods and other natural disaster situations, helps repair houses and provides better sanitation facilities for the needy. The Coffee Morning will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A fashion show, cookery demonstration, demonstration of flower arrangements, beauty culture, song and dance are some of the highlights of the coffee morning.
