ASPI up further, turnover Rs 694 m

The Colombo Bourse indices increased yesterday with the ASPI reaching 1,127.6 points from the previous day and the Milanka reaching 2,161.6 points from 2,153.8 the previous day.

The turnover for the day was a healthy Rs 694 million.

Large volumes of shares of National Development Bank, Asian Hotels, SLT, Reefcomber, JKH and Eden Hotel Lanka were traded yesterday. The top five gainers were Galadari, Lake House Investment, Mahaweli Reach, Beruwela Walk Inn and Arpico.

Ceylon Tea Services announced dividends of 20% interim and 15% final.
