Foreign Direct Investment inflow has reached an impressive US$ 170 million during the first half of this year reflecting the enhanced confidence in Sri Lanka by foreign investors as a result of the peaceful environment in the country, coupled with focused marketing strategy of the Board of Investment (BOI), Arjunna Mahendran, Chairman, BOI said.
