Crescat, Angsana to run lifestlyle leisure complex Crescat City has partnered with internationally renowned Angsana City Club and Spa to manage and operate a lifestyle leisure complex in Colombo, which will be opened early next year. The new complex which will be a part of Crescat City's 12 acre property housing the Colombo Plaza, the Crescat Boulevard and Residencies will be another link in the completion of Crescat's overall plans for their wholly integrated `city within city'. Angsana City Club and Spa will be equipped with state-of-art treatment rooms, gym, swimming pool, tennis courts, a lifestyle retail boutique and a speciality restaurant. Asian Hotels Corporation, Group Head (Strategy) Tilan Wijesinghe said that this new addition is a part of the company's plan to retain and enhance the value of Crescat Apartments and to provide the residents with superior facilities. Angsana City Club and Spa will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Crescat City. Its management and operations come under Angsana Spa created by internationally renowned luxury hotel chain operators Banyan Tree Holdings in a bid to diversify the group's business operations to other areas of hospitality and spa management as well as to expand their interests in the Asia-Pacific region. Today Ang sana has 15 spas around the world including Australia, India, Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Guam and China. The Angsana group also plans to expand their hotel operations in Sri Lanka with a long term commitment. |
