All political parties must unite for good of country

"Today there is a great yearning for peace from every quarter. The time has come for all parties and groups to abandon petty political gains, forget past happenings and commit themselves selflessly to work for an amicable solution to achieve peace, said Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at a thanksgiving Holy mass at St. Anne's Church, Wattala to celebrate the Silver Jubilee in the political life of Interior and Christian Affairs Minister John Amaratunga on Saturday.
