The re-scrutinised results of the GCE Advanced Level students will be issued by the Examinations Department by mid next week. Examinations Commissioner Mahinda Wijesiri said the re-scrutiny of papers on the request of students who sat the exam in April this year has now ended and he was optimistic the results could be released by Wednesday. Over 250,000 students sat the 2003 AL exam and over 24,000 have applied for re-correction of their results. - MF |
