Many legal ramifications could flow from this Supreme Court ruling
relating to the presidential and other future elections. A voter whose
vote had been impersonated or who is intimidated from the exercise of his
right to vote may file a fundamental rights application against the
election officials and the police officers on duty for the failure to
ensure the casting of his vote.
