The Freedom Alliance filed nominations for the Colombo and Gampaha districts yesterday. The nominations for Colombo were handed over by Freedom Alliance General Secretary Susil Prema Jayantha. He was accompanied by former MPs Dinesh Gunawaradane, Wimal Weerawansa, Jeevan Kumaratunga and Sunil Handunhetti, among others. 
The nominations were handed over by former MP, Co- organiser of the Alliance and Gampaha District leader Anura Bandaranaike. Former MPs Reggie Ranatunga, Anjan Umma, Pandu Bandaranayake, Vijitha Herath, Neil Rupasinghe and Felix Perera accompanied him.
