Lalith Priyantha to officiate in SAF Games The eagerly awaited 9th South Asian Federation Games or SAF Games, will be held from the 29th of March to 7th April 2004 in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) who is the hosting association to the Game of Table Tennis has requested the nomination of a Jury Member from the Table Tennis-Associations of other seven participating countries. The hosts will provide hotel accommodation, transport and clothing. The Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka through the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has nominated Lalith Priyantha to officiate at these games as a Jury Member to the sport of Table Tennis. However the cost of airfare has to be met by him as the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka is not financially in a position to meet this expenditure. The price of a return Air Ticket from Sri Lanka to Islamabad is at Rs. 47,000. |
