KERNER - VICTOR (CUCKOO) MERVYN PETER KERNER, Formerly Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Fleet Air Arm (RNVR) and later Manager of C.W. Mackie & Co. Galle. Former husband of Yvonne nee Hayward, beloved father of Nigel, Ryle and Trelene, father-in-law of Denise, Jean and Norman, grandfather of Julian, Darren, Helen and Nathan, brother of Ed and Terry and the late Merril, Constance and Sheila, passed away peacefully on March 9th. Remains will lie at residence at Samanala House, 5, Bellanthara Rd, Dehiwela, from Saturday 13th March until cortege leaves at 3 p.m. for cremation at Kanatte, Borella, at 4 p.m. on Sunday 14th March.
