Minister wishes Sri Lanka team

Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Jeewan Kumaranatunga and Deputy Minister Sripathi Sooriyarachchi, immediately after assuming duties at the Sports Ministry visited Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters yesterday to wish the Sri Lanka national team prior to their departure to Zimbabwe this afternoon.

Minister was welcomed, by Mohan de Silva, President, office bearers and other officials of Sri Lanka Cricket.

Minister took part in a religious ceremony and there after addressing the team said that as citizens we all look forward to enjoy cricket at its best and further wished the team and also Muttiah Muralitharan all success in achieving the world record of the Test wickets during this tour.
