Govt to import essentials with Rs.1b UNP luxury car funds

The Government will utilise the annual grant of Rs. one billion Indian loan facility at a low interest rate to import medicinal items and equipment essential to improve transport and expand minor export crops and technological development, Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama said yesterday.
