Bandaranaike have done their best to uplift indigenous medicine and the same path has been followed by President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga" said Sabaragamuwa PC Former Minister of Health, Anuradha Pathirana. He was addressing OPD patients and staff of Panawala Ayurveda hospital, Eheliyagoda at a donation of plastic chair, bed sheets that took place recently at the hospital OPD. Pathirana handed over forty plastic chairs worth Rs. 16,000 to the Panawala Ayurveda hospital. Pathirana said he had saved the money to purchase about 3,000 plastic chairs to be donated with the money he had saved by not using one of the two official vehicles supplied to him during his term of office as a minister of the PC. Panawala Ayurveda Hospital, OIC Sumedha Gamini Wettasinghe thanked the Former Minister for the donation. |
