Air Arabia launches awareness program

Air Arabia LLC - UAE's national airline and first low-cost airline of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region which started flights to Colombo January 13 this year, is to launch a three-month awareness programs in six locations throughout the country, starting with a full-day event in Kandy on June 5.

The airline has proved to be extremely competitive in its operations since starting flights at the beginning of the year".

The awareness program, focused on promoting the benefits of Air Arabia to recruitment and travel agents as well as international companies and media, will be held Kandy, Ampara, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Matara and Trincomalee said Milton Kuruppu, CEO Nawaloka Aviation, Air Arabia's General Sales Agent.

Starting operations with five destinations - Beirut, Bahrain, Damascus, Kuwait and Muscat Air Arabia now operates over 50 flights a week to 11 destinations in 9 countries within the Middle East and Sub-continent. The airline aims to make air travel more convenient and frequent through internet booking and offering the lowest fares in the market.
