HSBC's Head of International visits Sri Lanka Brian Fredrick, Head of International at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited has arrived in Sri Lanka for a short visit to meet government officials, key clients and staff. During his visit, Fredrick meet Sunil Mendis, Governor of the Central Bank and to attend a customer luncheon in Colombo. Fredrick will also meet staff and visit HSBC's Group Service Centre. Fredrick has held senior positions within the HSBC Group in the UAE, Philippines and Indonesia since August 1992. Before moving to Hong Kong, he was Chief Executive Officer in Indonesia. In November 2003, he was appointed to his current position. Fredrick graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury in Politics and Government. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. He also serves on the Board of HSBC Asset Management (Hong Kong) and is the Chairman of HSBC Insurance Brokers (Taiwan) Limited. |
