Massive fraud in land distribution under UNF regime:

Govt cancels all fraudulent deals

The Government has taken a decision to cancel all 528 land transactions done through the Land Reforms Commission (LRC) during January 1, 2002 to March 31, 2004. A Cabinet paper was presented by President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga to give effect to this cancellation.
