SriLankan's holiday package to Hyderabad SriLankan Airlines has launched a holiday package to Hyderabad which will be on offer till the 30th of November. The package is for a two nights and three days stay on a double sharing basis. SriLankan Airlines which operates to Hyderabad five times a week is promoting Sri Lanka and India as twin destination holiday centres around its route network. Since air services between the two countries were liberalised in 2003, SriLankan has intensified the focus of its Indian operation and has 71 weekly flights to India. Daily frequencies to Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Trichy and double daily frequencies to Chennai provide the opportunity for visitors to experience the richness of a subcontinent. Other destinations in its route network in India include Trivandrum with nine weekly flights, Calicut and Bodh Gaya with plans to launch flights to Ahamadabad soon. Visitors to Hyderabad will find a fascinating mix of cultures, bargain shopping and rich cuisine. The Golcondar Fort, Himayat Sagar Lake and Nagarjunasagar-Nagar Junakonda - the excavated remains of an ancient Buddhist settlement and the world's tallest masonry dam are among the attractions which would entice visitors to Hyderabad.
