Police get high-tech equipment to combat crime: Doors shut for drug smugglers by Sarath Malalasekera Inspector General of Police Chandra Fernando said yesterday that police
had strengthened all entry points to the country to prevent the smuggling
of hard drugs by deploying special police teams in those areas to arrest
heroin traffickers.
